Situational Saturday!

Situational Saturdays is a short email series that I am starting today. I will provide you a simple scenario that is meant to get you thinking about what would you do if. The scenario may or may not require self defense or some other action on your part.

Use these scenarios as a way to prepare for what might happen. You decide how it plays out. Make it simple. Make it complex. You get to decide what happens.

In order to make the most of these posts, I would recommend putting a little thought into it. Think about the laws in your state, county, or city. Use information from a similar story that you heard about in the news. Maybe you have found yourself in the situation before, how would you have changed the outcome?

To give you an idea, here is today’s Situational Saturday:

You and your spouse are walking into the mall. You both have your concealed carry permit and are armed. The parking lot lights are beginning to come on as the sun sets.

You are about halfway to the entrance when a group of young men come out. They see you and begin walking towards you. Their appearance makes your spouse uneasy and she says something to you about it.

What do you do?
